March Armor Verse
Why memorize Scripture?
In an article published by Desiring God, John Piper wrote that one of the reasons we ought to memorize Scripture was that “If we would be changed into Christlikeness, we must steadily see him. This happens in the word. “The Lord revealed himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the Lord” (1 Samuel 3:21). Bible memorization has the effect of making our gaze on Jesus steadier and clearer.”
You can read the article in its entirety here.
Armor Verse for the month of March:
“Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.” - Proverbs 4:5 (ESV)
Milwaukee Rescue Mission
Our Missionary Spotlight is the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Winter is probably their busiest time of the year. They are actively providing food, clothing, and shelter to those with the greatest needs in the City of Milwaukee.
Not only do they care for the physical needs of people, but they offer Bible-based programs for education, job training, overcoming substance abuse, and pastoral care with the goal of giving hope and transformation that is rooted in the gospel.
Love For Those In Need
Their mission is to share God's love by caring for those who are poor in body, mind and spirit, to see lives transformed through Christ to hope, joy and lasting productivity.

March Men’s Breakfast
Our plan is to enjoy a hot breakfast together, engage in life-giving conversations, and learn together as we read and discuss J.I. Packer’s book Knowing God.
Saturday, March 11, 7:00-8:30am
Packer says: “Once you become aware that the main business that you are here for is to know God, most of life’s problems fall into place of their own accord”. We invite men—young and old—to join us as we seek to Know God better!
